Once while I was giving a lecture on HR Auditing, I happened to introduce about HR due diligence. A student then questioned me whether she has to show everything to HR due diligence if she was asked.  Because, she was not sure which items were to be shown.  

I said: “instead of asking me, you should have asked this question to your employer and do accordingly”.

I asked: “What happened then?”

She replied: “Nothing! HR due diligence only visited their office once only”.


Another time, at the MSHRM association, while I was sharing about HR due diligence, one person said that her boss told her that HR due diligence would come.  HR due diligence did come and asked questions likewise.  This person then understood what HR due diligence was and there again, nothing did happen.


It is considered that for some reasons, the business deal was not achieved. As a matter of fact, Myanmar entrepreneurs and HR personnel should be familiar about HR due diligence: why, for what purpose, and what items are to be prepared in advance prior to the visit of HR due diligence.  What items does HR due diligence check and for which reasons?  If you really wish to achieve the business deal, you should carefully prepare in advance all that is required for the HR due diligence.
